Truth be told, I am feeling a little tired this year compared to other years given how often I get art blocks and how long pieces are taking to finish these days. So much so that I'm not feeling confident in doing MerMay this year, or at least in full. I haven't seen the official prompt list yet cus it hasn't dropped yet, but unless I get a sudden godly burst of inspiration and motivational drive and energy after seeing the prompts this year, I might just pick and choose which prompts I REALLY want to draw for and just skip the rest of the month (maybe I'll do weekly drawings instead of daily). I already have Art Fight to fill a good chunk of my art gallery for the year, so taking a year off from doing ANOTHER art challenge should be fine for my physical and mental state.

The next Art of Fight is in a week, and provided I'll still be here and kickin', I'll be at it again with making attacks and revenges! Like most of the year thus far, I am trying to take it easy a little bit with drawings, so I'm not gonna "actively" try to make one attack for every day of the month like last year, while also trying NOT to make 3 to 4 whole-ass Mass Attacks in a row.... hopefully. I'll just keep to drawing only what I truly WANT to draw, and mostly keep up with revenges. I know expecting attacks from people is silly and not something I normally do, but I know at least a few people have me on their AF hitlists after one or two of the mass attacks I did last year, so I wanna keep my eye out for things while not overwhelming myself with balancing attacks with revenges. As for the teams, it was revealed yesterday that the team theme this year is Vampires vs Werewolves, so you bet your ass I'm aiming for Team Lycanthropy. As such, I even filled out this little team

So, MerMay starts this Monday (I just realized there are 30 days in April and not 28, so it starts in a few days), and while I have omitted Pat's Kaiju March this year, I am gonna try and complete this one all the way through just like the last two years. For those who've seen the official prompt list though, you may have noticed some of the prompts are a bit... specific, we'll put it. With art prompts, I do try my best to work with art prompts as best I can, especially ones I can misconstrue into something funny, and while that still remains true here, there are unfortunately four prompts that I either can't think of anything funny to do with, or that I'm simply not in the mood to draw for, or both.
